Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Pay: $21 / HR rate | Paid Bi-Weekly

Job Type: Onsite in Clinton Township, MI

  • Mon & Tues 7am-8pm Wed & Thurs 7am -5pm and Fri 7am - 4pm Open every other Sat: 7am - 11am
  • Employees rotate shifts working 8.5 hour days where they will open on some days and close on others
  • One late night shift is required to be worked from 11:30am until 8pm

Medical Assistant Job Overview:

  • The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) functions as an integral member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team in providing direct patient care.
  • The CMA will be responsible for directing patients in all phases of their experience with the practice.
  • Responsibilities will include greeting and preparing for patients, completing patient intake into EPIC system, maintaining exam rooms including cleaning and keeping inventory/ordering supplies, and handling patient prescriptions and pre-authorizations for diagnostic testing/procedures as well as other duties typical of a physician practice

Medical Assistant Qualifications:

  • One year of experience required.
  • Family Medicine experience required
  • AAMA, NCCT, AMT or NHA preferred
  • Epic experience preferred
