Certified Medical Assistant Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $19.00 per hour
  • Shift Hours of operations:  Monday 8-8, Tuesday 8-7:30, Weds 8-5:30, Thurs 7-5, and Fri 7-4. Rotating shifts assigned to the physician's schedule.
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Certified Medical Assistant Highlights

  • Assists with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider.
  • Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts.
  • Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
  • Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone and maintaining records.
  • Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
  • Documents the provider's encounter with patients including diagnoses and follow-up instructions.

Certified Medical Assistant Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent OR 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Medical Assistant certification and BLS Provider certification required.
  •  Must be experienced in vaccines, EKG, procedure prep, venti puncture, monitoring vitals and injections. Required experience: 1 years minimum Pure Phlebotomist will not work.
