CMA Compensation

• The pay for this position is $21 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

CMA Highlights

• This position is with an outpatient cancer clinic that specializes in medical oncology and hematology
• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• There are two available shifts for this position:
• Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
• Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm

CMA Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment room as appropriate.
• Records patient data prior to each physician visit, including but not limited to, vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
• Answers patient telephone calls for referral to physician or nurse/pharmacist.
• Performs other administrative duties, i.e. typing, filing faxing, chart preparation, reception, etc, as requested by supervisor or physician.

CMA Requirements

• Must be a board-certified medical assistant such as a CCMA, NRCMA, RMA
• 1+ years’ experience as a medical assistant
• Strong venipuncture and IV skills required
• Active BLS required
• Diploma or certificate of graduation from a Medical Assisting program
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

CMA Preferred Qualifications

• Any experience in a specialty clinic is always a plus
