A-Line Staffing is now hiring Certified Medical Assistant in Frisco, TX! The Certified Medical Assistant would be working for a large healthcare organization that has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Certified Medical Assistant Compensation
- The pay for this position is $18-$20 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Certified Medical Assistant Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday 7am-4pm
Certified Medical Assistant Responsibilities
- Taking medical histories
- Explaining treatment procedures to patients
- Preparing patients for examinations
- Assisting the physician during examinations
- Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens
- Performing basic laboratory tests
- Instructing patients about medication and special diets
- Preparing and administering medications, including by intramuscular, intradermal, and subcutaneous injections—including vaccinations/immunizations, as directed by a physician or other licensed provider (e.g., a nurse practitioner or physician assistant)
- Transmitting prescription refills as directed
- Phlebotomy
- Taking electrocardiograms
- Wound care and changing dressings

Job Requirements
Certified Medical Assistant Requirements
- Must have current Medical Assistant Certification
- 1 – 3 years of experience as a medical assistant
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
