Certified Medical Assistant Compensation

  • The pay for this Licensed practical nurse position is $19/hr
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

Certified Medical Assistant Responsibilities

  • Effective time management and organizational skills. Effective clinical skills appropriate for the ambulatory care setting.
  • During times of low census in the department will be asked to cross cover in other departments.
  • Authority/Decision Making Level: Under the direction of a physician and clinical staff, takes appropriate clinical actions using available resources, to achieve positive outcomes for patients, visitors, and staff.

  • Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160 hour minimum).
  • Prior office experience required
  • Minimum 1 years recent MA experience
