Certified Medical Assistant Compensation

• The pay for this position is $18 - $20
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Certified Medical Assistant Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is: 8-5 or 9-6

Certified Medical Assistant Responsibilities

• Responsible for directing patients in all phases of their experience with the practice
• Greeting and preparing for patients, completing patient intake into EPIC system, maintaining exam rooms including cleaning and keeping inventory/ordering supplies, and handling patient prescriptions and pre-authorizations for diagnostic testing/procedures as well as other duties typical of a physician practice
• Administers medications and immunizations, obtains vital signs, maintains an inventory of appropriate supplies, ensures safe and efficient patient flow, tracks high-risk referrals and lab tests, facilitates safe transitions of care, organizes the practice environment to assure patient safety and quality health outcomes, and contributes to designated quality measures

Certified Medical Assistant Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• Certified Medical Assistant
• One year or prior experience
• Prior Office Experience

Certified Medical Assistant Preferred Qualifications

• Pain Management experience
• Epic Experience
