• The pay for this Licensed practical nurse position is $18+/hr (based on experience)
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

Certified Medical Assistant Responsibilities

• Effective time management and organizational skills. Effective clinical skills appropriate for the ambulatory care setting.
• During times of low census in the department will be asked to cross cover in other departments.
• Authority/Decision Making Level: Under the direction of a physician and clinical staff, takes appropriate clinical actions using available resources, to achieve positive outcomes for patients, visitors, and staff.

• REQUIRED: Phlebotomy experience
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160 hour minimum).
• Graduate from a Medical Assistant program without completion of a clinical externship with a minimum one-year experience in clinical medical assisting within the past (5) years.
• Minimum 3 years recent MA experience in primary care setting (preferably internal medicine)
