Location: Pennsylvania Soldiers' and Sailors' Home (DMVA) – Erie, PA
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Shift: 2nd Shift (2:45 PM – 11:45 PM) & 3rd Shift (11:45p-7:15a) available
Schedule: Must be available to work every other weekend

Position Overview

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide quality care and support to veteran residents.

As a CNA, you will work as part of a healthcare team to assist residents with daily living activities while helping maintain their comfort, dignity, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.

• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.

• Take and record vital signs as directed.

• Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.

• Assist with meal service and feeding when necessary.

• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.

• Ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.

• Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies and procedures.

• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.

• Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or nursing home experience preferred.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

• Ability to provide compassionate care to elderly and veteran residents.

• Must be reliable and able to work every other weekend.
