Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Duncansville PA 16635
Shift:

2nd shift: 2:45 pm - 11:15pm -Every other weekend -Rotating holidays

3rd shift: 10:45 pm - 7:15am Every other weekend -Rotating holidays
Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
Scheduled Pay: BiWeekly
Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Short term disability after 90 days

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities

  • Long-Term Care facility that houses the residence previously in the state hospital with mental and heath related issues
  • Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
  • Monitoring patients’ behavior, mood, and physical condition, and reporting changes to the nursing staff or physicians
  • Assisting in group therapy sessions, recreational activities, and other therapeutic interventions.
  • Assisting in de-escalating situations when patients become agitated or aggressive, often using techniques learned through specialized training
  • Keeping detailed records of patient behavior, activities, and changes in condition.
  • Working closely with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to implement care plans and ensure the well-being of patients.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Requirements:

  • Graduated from a Certified Nursing Assistant Program
  • Current / Active state certification as a CNA
  • 1 year experience working as a CNA
  • Experience working in a Assisted Living, Long Term Care Facility, or Behavioral Health facility
