**Hybrid position - come into the office 2-3 times per month and the rest of the time will be remote from home. This can change based off of business needs.**

Certified Pharmacy Technician Location: Cary, NC - Must Live within an Hour of Cary, NC

Certified Pharmacy Technician Compensation: $22.00 - $23.00 p/hr - based on licensure, certifications and experience 

Certified Pharmacy Technician Hours: M-F 9am to 6pm EST OR 11am - 8pm - possible weekends

What does the Certified Pharmacy Technician do?

  • Collect med lists and drug allergies from patients.
  • On phone all day collecting baseline information from patients to get them ready for pharmacist counseling; this includes payment method, shipping address, emergency contacts, etc.
  • Triaging calls all day and sending them to the correct departments.

Certified Pharmacy Technician Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years experience is preferred
  • Active Pharmacy Technician license with no restrictions in the state of North Carolina
  • Current CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) certification required; must be current, without
    restrictions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel and Word required; Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio preferable.
