Certified Pharmacy Technician Job Description:
The Certified Pharmacy Technician will assist with the preparation, packaging, and distribution of medications using automated systems and manual processes. This position supports pharmacists in verifying orders and maintaining accurate inventory. A strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and knowledge of HIPAA compliance is essential for success in this role.

Certified Pharmacy Technician Schedule & Location:
• Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Onsite Plano TX 75024 United States

Certified Pharmacy Technician Salary/Wage:
• $30.00/hour

Certified Pharmacy Technician Duties:
• Fill prescriptions and pack orders using PARATA machines
• Cycle counts and manage expired inventory
• Face shelves and organize stock
• Coordinate medication delivery to patients
• Manage orders through to pharmacist verification
• Access and update pharmacy systems to maintain accurate records
• Utilize automation and technology to optimize workflow
• Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure timely medication preparation
• Promote teamwork and professional communication
• Comply with established procedures and HIPAA regulations
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Certified Pharmacy Technician Required Qualifications:
• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician license in the State of Texas
• Reliable transportation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to ask questions and seek assistance as needed
• Ability to work across multiple stations

Certified Pharmacy Technician Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Certified Pharmacy Technician Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
