Certified Pharmacy Technician Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 an hr based on licensure certifications and experience | Biweekly

Location: Seattle, WA - Onsite 

Shift Options: 8 hours per day 40 hour per week Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat | (10am - 7pm  or 8:30am - 5pm)

Certified Pharmacy Technician Description:

• Assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications to HIV/AIDS patients, managing medication inventory, processing prescriptions, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service
• Checking stock levels, ordering medications, rotating stock to ensure proper expiration dates, and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Answering patient questions regarding medications, providing medication education, and addressing concerns with empathy and confidentiality. 
• Receiving prescriptions, verifying patient information, entering data into the pharmacy system, preparing labels, and filling prescriptions accurately. 
• Accurately entering patient information, medication details, and prescription data into the pharmacy systems.
• Adhering to all state and federal pharmacy regulations, including proper handling of controlled substances. 
• Working closely with pharmacists to ensure accurate medication dispensing and patient care. 

Certified Pharmacy Technician Qualifications:

• Active and current State Pharmacy Technician License in the State of Washington
• 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience 
• Active and current Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician PTCB Certification
