Infusion RN - Oncology

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, no weekends, holidays, or evenings! 
Location: Dallas, TX (May travel between Dallas region sites based on clinic needs)
Pay Rate:

• Level RN 2: $37 - $39 per hour (3-5 years of experience)

• Level RN Sr: $39 - $44 per hour (5+ years of experience, dependent on experience level)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care for patients following national and company standards for specialty regulations.

• Plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care while ensuring continuity.

• Assess patient and family needs, providing education and instructional material.

• Prepare and administer chemotherapy/immunotherapy under physician supervision.

• Administer medications and blood products, ensuring proper dosage, route, and timing.

• Facilitate dose modifications based on patient assessments, lab results, and treatment plans.

• Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central line catheter devices.

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and uphold compliance with reimbursement and charge capture procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.

• License: Active RN license in Texas, in good standing.

• Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Experience:

  • RN Sr: At least 5 years of infusion experience, including at least 2 years in oncology and 1 year administering chemotherapy/immunotherapy.

  • RN 2: 3-5 years of infusion experience.

• Skills: Strong IV skills, experience accessing port devices, compassionate, independent worker, educator mindset.

• Preferred Qualifications: Chemo infusion experience highly preferred; some oncology experience required.
