LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN / LVN) – OUTPATIENT CLINIC | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Granger IN 46530 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $37.17/hr
- Required Availability: Part-time| approximately 32–40 hours/week
- Schedule & Training
- Work schedules are created in 6-week blocks following an initial 3-week training/orientation period
- Typical shifts are 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours
- Schedule generally includes 2–3 weekdays and every other weekend
- Some major holiday coverage is required
- Must be available to complete the initial 3 weeks of training without planned time off
- May require floating to other nearby clinic locations
LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN / LVN) – OUTPATIENT CLINIC | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN / LVN) – Outpatient Clinic will provide high-quality, patient-facing clinical care in an outpatient clinic setting. This role involves patient assessments, medication administration, clinical testing, documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN / LVN) – OUTPATIENT CLINIC | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications
- Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs
- Identify and document abnormalities in blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and document clinical findings
- Perform or assist with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
- Document patient medical history, medications, allergies, surgeries, and other relevant information in the EMR
- Conduct medication reviews and identify potential side effects or drug interactions
- Perform mental health screenings, including assessments for depression, mood, behavior, and cognitive function
- Provide patient education related to self-care and disease management
- Help connect patients with appropriate healthcare and community resources
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinic environment
LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN / LVN) – OUTPATIENT CLINIC | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in good standing
- Current BLS certification
- 1+ year of related healthcare experience required
- Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings
- Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Strong comfort working in a fast-paced, patient-facing outpatient clinic
- Experience with clinical care in an ambulatory setting
