Job Description:
The Pharmacist will perform prescription verification, quality assurance, and clinical support duties. They will oversee staff, manage pharmacy operations, and ensure the timely fulfillment of prescriptions while adhering to company and regulatory standards.


Pharmacist Schedule & Location:

  • Location: Fort Worth, TX 76111, United States
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Pharmacist Salary/Wage:

  • $60/hour

Pharmacist Duties:

  • Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
  • Perform final verification of prescriptions post-fulfillment.
  • Answer patient and provider questions regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosages, and storage.
  • Provide clinical support to the pharmacy team and patients.
  • Monitor pharmacy computer queues to ensure task completion by technicians.
  • Manage inbound calls related to customer complaints, grievances, and service inquiries.
  • Oversee new patient intake and prescription processes.
  • Ensure timely delivery and shipping of prescriptions.
  • Assist patients with insurance enrollment and pharmaceutical assistance programs.
  • Prepare and process prior authorizations for various insurance plans.
  • Maintain patient privacy and comply with all HIPAA and departmental policies.
  • Consistently meet productivity, quality, and attendance standards.

Pharmacist Required Qualifications:

  • Pharmacist degree from an accredited school of pharmacy (Pharm.D. or higher preferred).
  • Current Pharmacist license in the state of employment.
  • At least one year of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting is preferred.
  • Clinical experience and HIV certification are highly desirable.
  • Must obtain AHF-approved HIV certification within 180 days and national HIV certification within 24 months.

Pharmacist Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in a clinic setting.

Pharmacist Education:

  • Pharmacist degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Clinical experience or additional certification is a plus.
