Clinical Nurse - Med/Surg Unit Highlights

• Pay Rate: $49.42-$64.33, based on experience.
• Shifts Available: Monday - Friday, 7 shifts per 2-week pay period; overtime after 40 hours/week or 80 hours/pay period.
• Location: Tuba City, AZ
• This position is an onsite, full-time role, temporary contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals of all ages in a Med/Surg setting.
• Perform nursing duties following physician orders, nursing policies, and hospital procedures.
• Conduct patient assessments, formulate nursing diagnoses, and implement care plans.
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Support patients and families, offering guidance and education on healthcare needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
• Ensure proper documentation and accurate patient records.
• Adhere to hospital guidelines and standards of care.
• Participate in continuing education and training programs.

Requirements

• Current, valid nursing license from any state in the U.S.
• Experience in MedSurg required.
• Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to the start of employment.
• Certifications must be maintained throughout employment:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) completion within 6 months of hire.
