Note: This is NOT a C2C Position
We are actively seeking a Cloud Database Architect. Ideally, a hands-on data engineer who possesses a strong passion for designing, optimizing, refactoring, and upgrading complex data solutions! We need someone who can help us architect and model new databases (using multiple technologies; AWS and Neo4j Graph Database), design and code ETLs, and implement automated data pipelines.
Required Experience (Must Have)
- Strong AWS Experience(Minimum three years’ experience)
- Lambda Functions - Python Preferred
- Glue and Scala
- Step Functions / State Machines and Control Flow
- ECS/ECR AWS Containerization
- AWS Storage Services - EC2, S3 preferred
- Automation - AWS Data Pipeline experience required
- Strong ETL Experience(Minimum two years’ experience)
- SSIS, Kettle, Talend
- Graph Database Experience(Minimum three years’ experience)
- Neo4j preferred
- Graph / Database Modeling Experience Required
- SQL Server Development experience
- Strong Modeling Experience required
- Experience with complex transformations and working with large data sets
- Experience with Data Lakes in AWS
- Excellent communicator, Quick learner, technical evangelist
Helpful Experience (Nice to Have)
- Experience in Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience in Linux and Containers
- Experience in DevOps
- Experience in Data Warehouse / Data Lake (preferred)
- Experience in Data Testing and Quality Analysis
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze large, and complex, data sets
- Design, develop and oversee the generation of ETL data pipelines
- Model complex data sets in Relational or Graph technology (Neo4j preferred)
- Provide technical leadership in database and data-related work
- Ensure architecture and design of the solution is in alignment with overall enterprise architecture
