Compounder (Small/Large) Job Description:
The Compounder is responsible for accurately measuring, mixing, and preparing batches of materials according to specific formulas and instructions. This position involves handling chemical materials, operating equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and collaboration with supervisors and team members to ensure production goals are met.

Compounder (Small/Large) Schedule & Location:

• 1st shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Location: Los Angeles CA 91406 United States

Compounder (Small/Large) Salary/Wage:

• $23/hour

Compounder (Small/Large) Duties:

• Retrieve and review assigned formulas, prioritizing orders by earliest ship date

• Accurately measure and mix raw materials by weight according to instructions (batches up to 800 lbs)

• Add raw materials manually or via dispensing systems, ensuring correct sequence

• Heat materials using hot plates as needed, ensuring no overheating and complete mixing

• Ensure batch is free of crystals and properly blended

• Maintain clean and safe work area, follow all safety protocols

• Use hand scanners to track inventory and materials

• Report equipment issues to Supervisor and keep all equipment in good working condition

• Participate in year-end inventory procedures

Compounder (Small/Large) Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalency

• Minimum 3 years of industrial work experience

• Chemical compounding experience preferred

• Prior forklift experience

Compounder (Small/Large) Education:

• High school diploma or GED equivalency required
