Compounder Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $27/hour

Compounder Highlights

  • Training Schedule Options: First Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) or Second Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) for the first few weeks
  • Regular Schedule: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM | Monday-Friday

Job Summary:

The 3rd Shift Compounder is responsible for blending and mixing fragrances using precision scales, following batch recipes, and ensuring proper procedures are followed in accordance with safety and operational guidelines.

Essential Responsibilities and Functions:

  • Retrieve assigned batch recipe cards and prioritize orders based on the earliest ship date.
  • Add raw materials manually using powders or pull cans from dispensing racks.
  • Use dosing clusters or mix tank dispensing stations for automatic batch filling.
  • Utilize scales, load cells, and pumps for accurate material addition and sequence.
  • Retrieve pre-mixes from automation area and add by weight to the batch.
  • Ensure thorough mixing of batches.
  • Maintain equipment and workspace in proper working condition; report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and understand hazards associated with various chemicals.

Compounder Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Prior forklift experience required.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs.
  • Strong team commitment and attention to safety.
