Job Description
A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a clinic role in Charlotte, NC 28203. The LPN will be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full-time, 30 to 40 hours per week, with alternating weekends.

Compensation:
• The pay for this position is $33.77 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Highlights:
• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 30-40 hours per week, including every other weekend. Clinic hours are Sunday-Sat 9:30am-6:30pm
Responsibilities:
• Administer vaccinations and injections, including but not limited to influenza, COVID, and TB test placements
• Obtain vital signs and perform patient registration, intake, and checkout
• Provide emergency care in collaboration with the provider on-site in emergent situations
• Assist with wait room management and patient experience-related responsibilities, including patient reminder calls, appointment scheduling, and chaperoning for sensitive exams
• Prepare the clinic and waiting space for optimal patient experiences
• Help meet our mission to improve health by providing exceptional patient-focused care and activities
Requirements:
• Previous experience administering immunizations and injections, and providing vaccine counseling and education
• Minimum of one year of related work experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record
• Ability to take vital signs and provide Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED operation
• Must pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when required
• Preferred: Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room, and with EPIC Electronic Medical Record
• LPN must have a full, active, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in the State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia
Education:
• Graduate of a school of Practical or Vocational Nursing, approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing (NLNAC)
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
• This is an in-person, patient-facing role
• The position requires floating to nearby locations as needed
• Must be able to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and assisting patients as required
