Contract-to-Hire Registered Nurse (RN) – Infusion & Oncology Care

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract-to-hire opportunity to join our team at a leading cancer care provider. This role supports the Infusion Department at our San Antonio, TX location. Schedule & Locations:

Shift: Monday – Friday | Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Float RN positions are also available – rotate across multiple sites for variety and flexibility.

Compensation:

• $38.00 – $42.00 per hour

• RNs with 5+ years of experience are eligible for top pay ($42/hr)

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in the infusion department

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive infusions

• Provide psychosocial support to patients and their families

• Facilitate clinical operations and manage patient care workflows

• Assess patient health status, history, and needs

• Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans

• Coordinate consultations, diagnostic tests, and referrals

• Respond to patient phone calls and triage as necessary

• Act as a resource to LPN/LVNs and medical assistants

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; oncology experience preferred

• Active RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

• Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills

• Willing to consider entry, mid, or senior-level candidates

Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
