Conveyor Belt Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift Compensation

The pay for this position is $26.00 per hour

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Conveyor Belt Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift Highlights

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

The required availability for this position is 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM), Monday through Friday, with weekends as scheduled in rotation

Mandatory weekend overtime may be required

Flexible to other shifts as needed
Conveyor Belt Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift Responsibilities
-
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues
-
Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, and more
-
Repairs to building structures and systems, including HVAC, electrical, controls, and mechanical systems
-
Preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns and malfunctions
-
Install and maintain equipment and machinery
-
Ensure adherence to safety and quality regulations

Document all maintenance activities including repairs and preventive maintenance
Conveyor Belt Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift Requirements
-
High School Diploma or GED required
-
2–3 years of relevant experience in maintenance
-
Experience with conveyor systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
-
Ability to work with electrical, control, and mechanical skills
-
Must be flexible for weekend overtime and other shifts

Basic electrical knowledge (12V, 24V AC/DC, 120V/208V, 277V/480V power)

Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Familiarity with Work Order processes (SAP)
