A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Correctional/Advanced Practice Nurse Psychiatric-Mental Health in Marysville, OH. This position offers the opportunity to work for a prominent correctional facility, with career growth potential. The assignment is expected to last for approximately 6 months, with the possibility of extension depending on performance and business needs.

Position Details:

• Job Title: Correctional/Advanced Practice Nurse Psychiatric-Mental Health
• Location: Marysville, OH
• Shift: Full-time (40 hours/week) with flexible shift start/end times
• Compensation: $72 per hour
• Contract Length: Approximately 6 months (may be extended)
• Work Environment: Primarily remote services to correctional facilities, with some in-person interaction required

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric and mental health care, including conducting assessments, formulating diagnoses, prescribing medication, and managing psychotropic medications
• Perform mental health evaluations and collaborate with medical staff to ensure integrated care
• Order and interpret lab results and provide crisis care when needed
• Participate in treatment planning, treatment team meetings, and continuous quality improvement activities
• Document all clinical encounters and medication management appointments in accordance with facility policies
• Provide supervision and consultation to nursing and mental health staff on psychotropic medication management

Requirements:

• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with psychiatric-mental health specialization
• Licensed to practice in Ohio
• Healthcare-professional level BLS/CPR certification
• DEA certification (preferred)
• Comprehensive resume including education, work history, and training details
• Ability to pass a drug test and TB screening within 30 days prior to starting
• Clearances for security at the correctional facility, including passing a metal detector and submitting required paperwork

Preferred Qualifications:

• DEA certification (preferred, not required)
• Prior experience in correctional settings
