Nurse Practitioner Compensation
- The pay for this position is $70 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
- The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
(some schedule flexibility based on operational needs; no evenings, weekends, or holidays)
- Provide on-site primary care or hospital-medicine–based services to the male population at a correctional facility
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered clinical care in accordance with state regulations and facility protocols
- Collaborate with facility staff and medical leadership to support continuity of care
- Document all patient interactions and care plans accurately and timely
- Participate in care coordination and contribute to a safe, compliant clinical environment
- Active Ohio Nurse Practitioner license (Family NP or Adult-Gerontology NP)
- At least 1 year of NP experience in a primary care or hospital medicine setting
- BLS/CPR (Healthcare Professional level) certification
- Board certification as an NP
- Submission of required credentialing materials, including:
- Comprehensive resume with education (location and year of graduation), training, and complete work history
- Proof of active Ohio NP license
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Board certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
- Prior experience in correctional healthcare or similar high-acuity environments
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
