Registered Nurse Hours

• Full-time – 40 hours per week
• 5x8 hour shifts
• 2nd shift - 2pm-10:30pm - every other weekend and rotating holidays included

Registered Nurse Compensation

• The pay for this position is $53.00-58.00 an hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide Direct Care: Deliver nursing care to incarcerated individuals, including routine health assessments, triage, and emergency care.
• Administer Medications and Treatments: Administer prescribed medications, injections, and treatments in accordance with established protocols and medical orders.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on health conditions, preventive care, medications, and lifestyle modifications as appropriate.
• Monitor and Document Patient Health: Continuously monitor patient health, including vital signs, lab results, and responses to treatment, and maintain detailed, accurate medical records.
• Assist with Medical Procedures: Assist physicians and medical staff during medical examinations, procedures, and diagnostic tests.
• Handle Emergencies: Respond quickly and efficiently to medical emergencies, provide first aid, and implement life-saving interventions when necessary.
• Collaboration with Security Personnel: Work closely with security staff to ensure a safe and secure environment for both staff and patients while respecting confidentiality and privacy.
• Health Screenings and Assessments: Perform intake screenings, assessments, and follow-up care to ensure that inmates’ medical needs are promptly addressed.
• Infection Control and Safety: Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines to prevent the spread of illness within the facility.

Registered Nurse Requirements

• Licensed RN in PA
• 1 + years of experience
