Job Title: Correctional Registered Nurse

Pay: $50-$56 an hr | Bi-weekly

Job Type:

  • Onsite in Camp Hill, PA

Shift Options:

  • 6 am - 2:30 pm rotating schedule, every other weekend. 40 hour work week, 30 minute unpaid lunch break

Correctional Registered Nurse Overview:

  • Correctional nurse provides nursing care and treatment for inmates and other detainees in correctional institutions throughout the State.
  • Resource performs as a charge nurse, staff nurse, or an assessment coordinator.
  • Directs and coordinates the delivery of nursing care and treatment in patient or resident care areas.
  • Supervises non-professional nursing direct care personnel and ensures coordination of services.
  • Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized nursing care plans.

Correctional Registered Nurse Qualifications:

  • Possession of a current license to practice as a registered nurse issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing or a non-renewable temporary practice permit.
  • Ability to enter health data into electronic medical records.
  • Competent in areas such as airway insertion, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring.

Correctional Registered Nurse Benefits:

  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance.
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
