Correctional Registered Nurse Compensation

• The pay for this position is 50.00-56.00per hour Weekly paid
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

Correctional Registered Nurse Highlights

• The required availability for this position 3 PM - 11 PM, Full-Time every other weekend and rotating hoildays

Correctional Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and treatment for inmates and other detainees in correctional institutions throughout the State.

· Perform as a charge nurse, staff nurse, or assessment coordinator, delivering nursing care and treatment services in a Commonwealth facility.

· Direct and coordinate nursing care and treatment for individuals, commonly on the evening or night shift.

· Make assessments and decisions regarding staff utilization and supplies/equipment needs.

· Supervise paraprofessional and/or non-professional nursing direct care personnel and ensure service coordination and record maintenance.

· Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care and treatment plans.

· Meet with family and residents to assess conditions and complete documentation as required by regulations.

· Provide professional nursing care in a patient or resident care area or a nursing specialty care area.

· Exercise independent judgment in professional nursing practices and complete work assignments as instructed.

Correctional Registered Nurse

• Active RN License in the state or territory you are working in
• Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time
• Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws and perform Point of Care Testing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an
