Job Title: Corrections RN
Pay: $65-$68 an hr | Bi-weekly
Job Type: Onsite in Newtown CT 06470
Shift Options:
- - Per Diem - no set schedule or hours
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift available
- Varied Weekends
Corrections RN Overview:
- Provide professional nursing and mental health care to inmates.
- Implement nursing process and carry out physicians' orders regarding medication and treatment.
- Monitor and report on the health status of inmates.
- Maintain records of controlled drugs and ensure their security.
- Instruct inmates on treatments and health issues.
- Respond to medical emergencies and assist in crisis situations.
- Implement infection control services and provide education to inmates.
Corrections RN Qualifications:
- Current nursing license required.
