Job Description
Job Title: Corrections RN
Pay: $60-$63 an hr | Bi-weekly
Job Type: Onsite in Hartford CT 06120
Shift Options:
- Between 32 - 40 Hours/Week
2nd Shift - 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Corrections RN Overview:
- Responds to all codes and documents appropriately
- Counts- sign count book, temp log
- Quality improvement audits
- Medication pass
- Stock treatment room weekly on Saturdays
- RHU Placements (RHU Nurse)
- Treatments after meds are completed (All Med Nurses)
- Check daily injections
- Tour RHU and Sign Log (RHU nurse)
- Collect Sick call slips from mailroom if Yvonne out (8,9,10 med box)
- Collect med delivery box and scan and pass out KOP meds (2nd shift) 1st shift will get box and start process if time allows?
- Check stock meds and order as needed weekly Sundays (5,6, RHU Nurse)
- Maintain medication carts
- Takes direction and delegation of tasks from Lead nurse
Corrections RN Qualifications:
- Active RN License in Connecticut
- Active BLS
