Corrections Registered Nurse Compensation
• The pay for this position is $48 per hour.
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

Corrections Registered Nurse Highlights
• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
• The required availability for this position is Night Shift only (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM) with every other weekend work.

Corrections Registered Nurse Responsibilities
• Provide professional nursing care to patients in various settings, including student health services units, correctional medical centers, and more.
• Observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients.
• Perform nursing rounds, take and record vitals, and administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Monitor restrained patients and provide immediate medical attention to emergencies.
• Schedule, assign, and review work of lower-level staff and participate in staff development and education.
• Perform specialized procedures such as IV therapy, wound care, dialysis, and more.
• Organize and oversee 'code blue' teams and act as lead worker in charge of one assigned shift in absence of a Nurse 2 employee.
• Perform clerical tasks including charting, recording medications, completing required reports, and maintaining inventory of controlled drugs and equipment.

Corrections Registered Nurse Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.
• Healthcare-professional level CPR certification.
• Ohio RN License.

Corrections Registered Nurse Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience in a similar role.
