A-line Staffing Solutions is working with a major Pharmaceutical company in New Brighton, MN whom are in need of a Pharmacy Technician to become a part of the team!

Pay: Starting at $14+

Hours:Mon-Fri 12pm to 8: 30pm 5 days a week will occur some weekend hours

Education: Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Calculates and/or verifies the correct dosage based on the prescription
Enters new and refill orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Comply with a process that addresses all state and federal guidelines regarding medication labeling.
Provide dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplication, and other items that the computer flags.
Consult with dispensing pharmacist regarding prescription order clarification, non-stock items, order entry problems or concerns.


Physical Demands: May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day.

May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion.
Visual acuity to see and read fine prints.
Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Required Qualifications:

Pharmacy Technician Licensed in the State of MN.
Basic math and analytical skills Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English


Preferred Qualifications:

Previous pharmacy technician experience
Previous data entry experience

Verifyable High School Diploma or GED Required: Yes Work experience: No Position Summary: Cycle Fill Technician assists the pharmacist with preparation of routine medications for distribution to long term care facilities based on physician orders and prescriptions. Duties: Key Responsibilities: Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner Review facility pre-list and prepare 30/31 day cards with the appropriate drug. Works under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist; assisting with dispensing medication according to the prescription Assist the purchasing coordinator with restocking and cleaning shelves with medication and other items as needed. May assist with regular inventory cycle. Assist in bagging and boxing drugs according to the facility and work with the delivery team to ensure boxes or bags are taken to the warehouse in a timely manner. Stage and generate manifest for cycle exchange. Perform scheduled cycle exchange. Communicate with nursing staff to obtain/provide key information. Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA. Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary by location. Experience: Minimum (Required) Qualifications: (must be met in order to perform the job at the required level) Licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law Must understand basic pharmacology; abbreviations, brand and generic comparisons in order to interpret prescriptions for filling. Basic math and analytical skills Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and be flexible Ability to perform task accurately and efficiently Exchange Technician. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Good customer service skills Preferred Qualifications: Previous pharmacy technician experience Previous pharmacy or a health care setting Education: High School diploma or equivalent What days & hours will the person work in this position?
