Title: Desktop Technical Support Specialist II
Location: Louisville, KY
Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8AM – 5PM EST
Note: This is a W2 contract role – C2C, 1099, and 3 rd party candidates will NOT be considered
The Desktop Technical Support Specialist will provide hands-on user support by troubleshooting hardware and software problems for desktop and laptop computers. They will configure workstations for new users and upgrade existing equipment and software. They will setup and maintain network and telecommunication systems, troubleshoot LAN, server, and connectivity issues , re-image computers, perform data migrations and restorations, and conduct remote problem-solving as needed, utilizing a technical ticketing system. Ideal candidates for this role must possess strong, working knowledge of hardware components, hardware configurations, and have strong software support experience.
Position Requirements:
- Strongtechnical support and customer service skills, both in-person, over the phone, and through chat services
- Strongcritical thinking skills and ability to multitask
- A minimum of an Associate Degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred; relevant professional certification(s), such as Net+, CCNA Collab, CCNE, HDI, or ITIL preferred
