Title: Digital Category Management Specialist

Pay Rate: $24.17/hr

Location: Woonsocket, RI (Position is fully remote but candidates MUST live within a commutable distance)

Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:30AM – 5:00PM EST; occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required

We are seeking a highly organized, technically savvy individual to drive the day-to-day execution of tactics for an ecommerce website. This individual will exhibit a positive can-do attitude with an openness to learn, all while immediately contributing at a high level. This individual is responsible for supporting a variety of initiatives to help us acquire new customers and increase engagement with and retention of current customers. This individual will play a key role in ensuring marketing strategies are executed according to plan while being on time and on budget. These efforts will primarily include, but are not limited to; ensuring accurate and quality administration of website product content, weekly on-site promotional offerings, and item setup/maintenance activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working in PIM and CMS systems to execute item setup processes of products to reach websites in alignment with category strategy
• Collaborating with internal and external partners to optimize product display pages ensuring content is relevant and optimal to the customer experience
• Executing maintenance requests from vendors and internal partners of products to keep product pages up to date
• Performing routine quality audit checks of product display and listing pages, and updating product data, as needed
• Leveraging data insights and competitive analysis to identify opportunities to drive customer engagement and conversion
• Supporting UAT of new systems and functionality
• Assisting Category Managers with financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting, providing insights and recommendations to improve performance
• Aiding in other areas of the department, and other responsibilities, as needed
• Providing occasional after-hours or weekend support, as needed

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of ecommerce experience
• Knowledge & experience in the digital space
• Knowledge & experience with MS PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word; experience with content management tools highly preferred
• A decisive and effective problem-solving ability with an understanding of how to effectively escalate problems or concerns to management
• Strong attention to detail and process
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, across departments, and with Business Partners; strong teamwork skills, including the ability to adjust interaction and communications styles for different audiences and situations
• Consistently demonstrated professionalism, reliability, accountability, and flexibility in working with others
• Strong, active listening skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or other relevant field
