Surgical Technician Compensation

• The pay for this position is $22.94-$32.11 per hour. Final pay rate will be based on each individual candidate's experience
• This is a Direct Hire Full Time position

Surgical Technician Highlights

• This position is a direct hire job opportunity
• The required availability for this position is day shift: (6:30a-7p, three 12-hour shifts) 3 Day work week no set days.

Surgical Technician Responsibilities

• Responsible for the handling or surgical instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during general surgical procedures.
• Ensures understanding of assigned surgical procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the assigned surgical team.
• Provides service support related to patient preparation, patient transport, building services and assisting surgical care team with specific patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs.
• Responds to emergent situations according to established procedures.

Surgical Technician Requirements

• Graduate of CAAHEP accredited Surgical Technology program preferred (not required)
• Minimum of 1 year experience required
• Experience in Neuro, Ortho, laparoscopic, robotic.
• Candidates need to be able to scrub Ortho, Ortho Sports, Neuro, Gyn/Uro 
• Will be working in Trauma level 3 OR – previous experience preferred
• Basic Life Support BLS
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
