Position Overview:

This role reports to the Vice President of Finance and Controller. The critical responsibilities of this role are as follows:
  • Lead global financial reporting functions by ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and company policies
  • Manage financial planning and analysis processes including annual strategic plan, annual operating planning, monthly forecasting and actual reporting cycles; oversee compliance with internal controls
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and oversight for non-standard transactions and activities
  • Support processes for establishing, measuring and delivering upon company financial objectives; deliver information and analysis to support proactive management decision making
  • Lead team of direct/indirect reports; provide functional leadership by fostering teamwork, providing coaching and developing team members
  • Assist with special project activities including complex technical accounting matters, M&A activities, business improvement projects, restructuring programs, working capital initiatives, etc.


  • Minimum undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Professional accreditation preferred (CPA, CA or similar)

  • 10 to 15 years of accounting and reporting experience in an international environment; experience; experience with SEC reporting and manufacturing strongly preferred
  • Experience leading and managing a team of direct and indirect professionals
  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP accounting and tax; ability to effectively communicate complex matters to non-technical audience
  • Knowledge and experience with working with Latin America; ability to work in a multi-cultural environment is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Effective communicator at all levels with strong oral, written & influencing skills
  • Due diligence and acquisition integration experience in acquisitions is desirable
  • Working experience with international audit firms is required
