- Oversee clinical risk management and patient safety programs within an acute care hospital setting.
- Lead and conduct detailed clinical chart reviews and root cause analyses to identify risk trends.
- Manage infection prevention initiatives, including outbreak containment and epidemiological investigations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable California regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and quality improvement initiatives.

- Compliance/submission notes: Maintain adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Environment: Acute care hospital.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (preferred).
- Professional Healthcare Risk Management Certificate within 24 months of hire.
- CPHRM certification (must-have).
