Director of Nursing Services Highlights

• The salary for this position is $160,300 - $207,350 annually, comprehensive benefits due to being permanent/direct hire

• The required availability for this position is full-time with a flexible schedule
• Travel requirement: 15%

Director of Nursing Services Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the delivery of nursing services and patient care across one or two service lines
• Develop and implement business plans to integrate services across multiple departments
• Ensure continuous quality and safety improvements in clinical practices, services, and operations
• Develop and manage strategic initiatives to meet or exceed patient care, cost, and utilization goals
• Oversee budget management, resource allocation, and financial performance of the service line
• Handle employee relations, labor management, safety, and risk management issues
• Direct compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with other executives, departments, and teams to achieve integrated services across the continuum of care

Director of Nursing Services Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of acute healthcare nursing experience , with at least 4 years in progressive management and supervisory roles
• Master's Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business, Public Health, or Management
• Registered Nurse License (California)
• Basic Life Support certification
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare operations, regulations, and standards (e.g., Nurse Practice Act, TJC)
• Must be able to work effectively in a Labor/Management Partnership environment

Director of Nursing Services Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of progressive management and supervisory experience
• At least 3 years of Operating Room (OR) experience
• Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience (2-3 years preferred)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
