A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Director of Quality, Patient Experience, and Patient Safety for a leadership opportunity within a healthcare system. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position with standard daytime hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM). No weekends or on-call requirements.
Compensation & Incentives
- Annual Salary: $104,540 – $145,000 (based on experience)
- Up to 10% annual bonus (eligible after first full year)
- Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus
- $5,000 relocation assistance
- 17% permanent placement fee
Position Overview
The Director of Quality, Patient Experience, and Patient Safety provides system-level leadership across quality improvement, patient safety, infection prevention, and patient experience initiatives. This role ensures alignment with regulatory and accreditation standards while driving a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
The Director works closely with executive leadership, physicians, clinical teams, and operational departments to implement strategies that improve patient outcomes, enhance care delivery, and strengthen organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead system-wide quality, safety, and patient experience strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Oversee compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., The Joint Commission, CMS, state/federal requirements)
- Develop and implement quality improvement and patient safety programs
- Identify performance gaps and drive measurable improvements across clinical and operational areas
- Promote high reliability principles and standardization of care processes
- Analyze performance data, trends, and metrics to guide decision-making
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to lead change management initiatives
- Foster a culture of just culture, accountability, and continuous learning
- Integrate patient and family feedback into quality and experience initiatives
- Establish and monitor KPIs related to quality, safety, and patient experience
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (required)
- Master’s degree (highly preferred)
- Active Ohio clinical license (if applicable)
- CPHQ certification and/or Lean Six Sigma or similar methodology (highly preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of quality improvement experience (required)
- Prior leadership/management experience (required)
- RN with at least 5 years of leadership and quality experience (required)
- Strong knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, statistics, and performance metrics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
