DISTRIBUTION ASSOCIATE | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Four Oaks NC 27524 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $16.50/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 6 AM - 2 PM
- Occasional weekday and weekend overtime may be required.
DISTRIBUTION ASSOCIATE | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Distribution Associate will be responsible for processing orders, loading/unloading pallets, and operating material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This role is essential for ensuring the accurate and timely shipment of products.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
DISTRIBUTION ASSOCIATE | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Order Fulfillment: Process customer orders by scanning barcodes, picking cases, labeling boxes, and verifying accuracy using RF scanning technology.
- Palletization: Securely palletize completed orders and operate shrink-wrap machinery.
- Inventory Movement: Locate, retrieve, and replenish products to picking locations; load and unload pallets to prevent product damage.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment (MHE), including high-reach equipment and electric pallet jacks.
- Team Support: Maintain a working knowledge of various warehouse functions to assist or provide backup coverage as needed.
DISTRIBUTION ASSOCIATE | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 1+ year of warehouse or distribution experience is preferred.
- Prior experience with RF scanners and material handling equipment is preferred
- Must have the ability to obtain electric pallet jack certification.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, walk, reach, and lift (some areas require lifting over 50 lbs). Corrected vision of 20/40 and sufficient hearing for safety in an MHE environment are required.
- Availability: Ability to work occasional weekday and weekend overtime as requested.
