Job Description:
The Document Scanning Specialist - Representative II will work closely with multiple teams within Provider Network Services, including the RFI Team and Pharmacy Credentialing. Responsibilities include aiding in time-sensitive requests, handling confidential information, and performing extensive data entry. The position requires knowledge of medical terminology, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. The role supports internal/external goals and ensures compliance with CMS and department standards.
Schedule & Location:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Flexible start and end times within an 8-hour shift).
- Overtime: Occasional overtime is available but rare and voluntary.
- Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Rare and not mandatory.

Salary/Wage:
- Pay Rate: $16.09/hr
Duties:
- Communicate effectively between team members and departments, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Perform extensive data entry work, maintaining compliance with CMS and department standards.
- Handle and file confidential information, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Support the RFI and Pharmacy Credentialing teams by assisting with workloads.
- Adapt to a dynamic work environment, maintaining organizational skills and meeting deadlines.
- Read and interpret medical/pharmacy terminology and auditing documents.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years in a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel.
- Communication: Strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidentiality: Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and work in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to change.
- Knowledge: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business correspondence and regulations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in a seated position for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and scanning.
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred: Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
