A-Line Staffing is now hiring Documentation Control & LMS Administrator – Technical Writer in Boise, ID 83716. The Documentation & LMS Specialist would be working for a well-established organization supporting workforce development initiatives and has strong growth potential. This would be a full-time contract assignment / 40+ hours per week.

Documentation Control & LMS Administrator – Technical Writer Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $27.00 per hour.
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

Documentation Control & LMS Administrator – Technical Writer Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
  • The required availability for this position is standard business hours (full-time, 40 hours/week)

Documentation Control & LMS Administrator – Technical Writer Responsibilities

Documentation Management

  • Monitor and follow up on documentation change requests.
  • Maintain documents using approved software, templates, styles, and standards.
  • Edit and proofread technical documentation for accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure document accuracy.
  • Store and manage documents in appropriate repositories following data governance standards.
  • Maintain documentation system data integrity.

Learning Management System (LMS) Administration

  • Support training administrator standards and content guidelines.
  • Monitor and follow up on training requests.
  • Audit, update, and maintain training content and assignments.
  • Create and manage on-the-job training (OJT) certifications for controlled documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience creating and maintaining technical documentation or managing a Learning Management System
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience working in structured documentation environments.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with subject matter experts.
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a semiconductor or manufacturing/production environment (2+ years preferred)
  • Experience writing technical documentation for systems, equipment, or processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using SharePoint or similar document management systems.
