Mechanical Engineer (Instron/Zwick Experience) Compensation
- The pay for this position is $24.58 per hour.
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
A 401(k) with company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
- Contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for permanent placement based on attendance, performance, and business needs
- Onsite position located in Branchburg, NJ
- Monday–Friday schedule, full-time hours
- Opportunity to work with advanced testing systems such as Instron and Zwick
- Gain valuable experience within a global medical technology environment
- Perform sample intake, labeling, and storage of test materials
- Conduct testing using Instron and Zwick mechanical systems
- Analyze test data using Excel, MiniTab, or JMP software
- Maintain laboratory organization and manage supply inventory
- Communicate testing progress and challenges to management
- Follow standard operating procedures and quality guidelines
- Support test documentation, data analysis, and report drafting
- Coordinate sample return, disposal, and hazardous waste management
Mechanical Engineer (Instron/Zwick Experience) Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
- Ability to work onsite in Branchburg, NJ
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Mechanical Engineer (Instron/Zwick Experience) Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biomedical, Chemistry, or related field
- Hands-on experience with Instron or Zwick testing equipment
- Familiarity with MiniTab, JMP, or SolidWorks
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
