Medical Device Quality Engineer Compensation
• The pay for this position is $23 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Medical Device Quality Engineer Highlights
• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Medical Device Quality Engineer Responsibilities
• Quality Engineering is responsible for product and service quality evaluation and control
• Works cross-functionally in the development and/or maintenance of products or services
• Resolving equipment and process-related production issues
• Activities including equipment process materials and method validation
• Conducts statistical analysis and metrics to analyze systems and processes being measured
• Writes test protocols, collects data, and writes reports to validate against plan to ensure product is used as intended
Medical Device Quality Engineer Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• Must have GMP experience in medical devices and/or pharmaceuticals
• Supplier Quality experience is a plus
• Minimum 2 years of applicable experience
• Basic knowledge of FDA/ISO requirements
• Applies basic statistical sample size calculations for quality determination on simple projects
• Basic understanding of regulatory requirements (cGMP, FDA, ISO, etc.)
• Ability to apply knowledge and skills to complete work independently with guidance
