Job Description
Epic Willow Application Lead (Ambulatory Pharmacy) — Remote (Select States)
Overview
We’re hiring an experienced Epic Willow application professional to support Ambulatory Pharmacy Services in a remote leadership-focused role. This position requires strong Epic build expertise and the ability to lead workflow discussions, drive solutions, and mentor/support team priorities.
Location
Remote (U.S.) — candidates must reside in one of the following states:
Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, New York, Nebraska, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Wyoming, Virginia
Required Qualifications
- Epic build experience (required)
- Willow Ambulatory certification (required)
- Willow Inventory certification (required)
- 3–5 years of application support experience
- Leadership capability (application lead-style ownership, mentoring, prioritization, guiding solutioning)
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- Associate’s degree considered with several years of relevant experience
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered
- Healthcare experience
- 2+ years of project management and/or application lead experience
- Provide application support and Epic Willow build/configuration
- Analyze workflows, identify gaps, and recommend improvements
- Partner cross-functionally and present solutions clearly and in an organized manner
- Coordinate collaboration across teams to drive alignment and outcomes
- Mentor team members, set priorities, and support problem-solving with minimal direction
- Adapt to changing needs and help lead change initiatives
- Interviews are conducted via Microsoft Teams
