EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - MANUFACTURING | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Sumter South Carolina 29153 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $22.50/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Rotating schedule: 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
- Includes weekends
EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - MANUFACTURING | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Equipment Maintenance Technician will support production operations in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing production equipment while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - MANUFACTURING | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate, monitor, optimize, and maintain production equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate equipment logs and maintenance records
- Monitor production quality and perform required quality checks
- Ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently
- Monitor component inventories and safety devices
- Support upstream and downstream production operations
- Perform rework activities as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all safety, environmental, and quality system requirements
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - MANUFACTURING | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
