We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our team in Fremont, CA. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional medical care to patients by performing comprehensive evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments, along with minor surgical procedures and preventive care education. This role requires collaboration with medical staff, leadership in clinical program development, and adherence to clinic policies and state regulatory standards.
Essential Responsibilities:

Conduct medical examinations, evaluations, diagnoses, treatments, and minor surgical procedures in alignment with clinic policies.

Address disease prevention and health promotion issues while ensuring high-quality patient care.

Educate patients and their families about preventive care, diagnoses, treatments, and prescribed medications.

Facilitate referrals for specialty services, laboratory tests, and other necessary diagnostics.

Maintain accurate, legible, and confidential medical records, documenting all evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, and treatments in compliance with regulations.

Develop and implement protocols to enhance comprehensive health service delivery.

Participate in planning and implementing new clinical programs and adopting emerging technologies to improve patient services and clinic operations.

Provide in-service training for staff on selected topics in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer.

Engage in peer review activities as outlined in clinic policies.

Model customer service excellence by demonstrating commitment to the clinic’s values and service standards.

Support the implementation of Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Practice Management (EPM) systems.

Collaborate with and provide consultation for mid-level practitioners, including reviewing a percentage of their charts.

Work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
Qualifications:

Medical degree from an accredited medical school.

Completion of an accredited residency program.

Valid and current California Medical License.

Board Eligible or Certified in Family Practice (Board Certification required within two years of employment if not already certified).

Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Registration.

Basic Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
