Job Posting: Family Nurse Practitioner  

Location: Austin Texas 78756 

Clinic Hours: M-F 8:30am – 7:30pm, Sat 9:00am – 5:30pm, Sun 9:00am – 4:30pm  

Schedule: Rotating schedule 32-40 hours a week - includes every other weekend  

Employment Type: Full time 32-40 hours a week  

Pay: $75.00-78.00 per hour 

 
Family Nurse Practitioners provide evidence-based, primary and family care in collaboration with a dedicated clinical care team. You will manage a panel of patients and help drive better outcomes through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, chronic disease management, preventive care, and health counseling. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver primary care services: assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health counseling, and disposition planning 
  • Perform routine examinations, wellness screenings, and management of acute and chronic illnesses 
  • Provide patient education on healthy lifestyle choices and preventive care 
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals 
  • Handle patient scheduling, insurance verification, payments, and follow-ups 
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment 
  • Open and close the clinic, and maintain clinic inventory 

  

Required Qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner program 
  • Current National Board Certification (AANP or ANCC) 
  • State license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse 
  • DEA Registration required before starting   

Preferred Experience: 

  • At least 1 year of recent Primary Care,  Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Retail Clinic experience as an FNP. 
  • Experience managing chronic conditions and understanding quality measures 
  • Bilingual skills a plus (not required)

  • Strong patient advocacy and autonomy in clinical practice 
  • Outstanding communication (verbal, written, electronic) 
  • Technologically proficient (EMR use, telehealth collaboration) 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively 
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, team-based environment 
  • Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure 
  • Comfortable practicing independently and remotely within a clinical team model
