Family Nurse Practitioner
Payrate: $74.87
Location: Kennesaw, GA USA 30068
Schedule: 30–40 hrs/week | M–F: 8:30am–7:30pm | Sat–Sun: 9:00am–5:30pm | Every other weekend required – Blocked Schedule

Position Summary
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients aged 18 months and above in a retail clinic environment. You'll independently manage patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and follow-up care using a fully integrated electronic health record (EHR). This role reports directly to the Senior Practice Manager.
You’ll be supported by a collaborative team and will help drive a culture of patient-centered service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, holistic care including health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Document all care in a computerized EHR system.
- Educate patients on health maintenance and prevention.
- Validate insurance coverage and incorporate this information into the care plan.
- Maintain excellent communication with patients, clinic teams, and retail colleagues.
- Float to nearby clinic locations as needed for coverage and support.
- Promote a culture of clinical quality, innovation, integrity, and collaboration.
- Participate in hiring, mentoring, and developing new team members.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience as a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current and unrestricted RN and NP license in the state of employment.
- Current National Board Certification (AANP or ANCC).
- Must apply for DEA license upon offer of employment.
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to the start date (medical/religious exemptions accepted with documentation).
