Family Nurse Practitioner Location: Fayetteville, NC

Family Nurse Practitioner Compensation:  $58.00 p/hr

Family Nurse Practitioner Hours:

  • M-F VA clinical Hours

What does the Family Nurse Practitioner do?

Responsible for providing Family Practice and interventional Family Practice consultative services

Family Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities:

  • Assessment, diagnostic work-up and clinic intervention, including comprehensive
    patient assessment, health history, physical examination, and patient education to Veterans
    in the Primary Care team setting; outpatient include both scheduled and unscheduled Veterans.
  • Order and evaluate diagnostic tests as appropriate, recommend treatment and/or referral.
  • Record/document health appraisal information, clinical assessments, treatment decision, plan of care,
    ongoing management and therapeutic outcomes, order medications, diagnostic test and
    referral consultations where needed for every patient encounter; recording will be
    accomplished using the electronic comprehensive patient record system (CPRS) and will
    be completed on the day of the encounter.

Family Nurse Practitioner Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Certified in Family Practice and BC by ANCC
  • Current unencumbered license in any US state, territory or commonwealth
  • 5 years of experience within past 5 years
  • Proof of Insurance
  • BLS and ACLS through AHA
  • DEA registrati
