Job description:
The Family Practice Physician will provide primary medical care and educational services in a patient-centered environment. This role requires collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team under the guidance of the Chief Medical Officer to deliver comprehensive care, including evaluations, treatments, consultations, and referrals, while ensuring the smooth operation of clinical services.

Family Practice Physician Schedule & Location:

• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
• Location: San Jose, CA 95127, United States.

Family Practice Physician Salary/Wage:

• Salary range: $250K–$280K.
• Candidates seeking higher compensation may still be considered.
• Relocation assistance: Up to $10K.
• Sign-on bonus: Up to $20K, paid quarterly during the first year.

Family Practice Physician Duties:

• Perform medical evaluations, minor surgical procedures, and consultations.
• Educate patients and families about preventive care, diagnoses, and treatments.
• Oversee and support mid-level practitioners, medical assistants, and nursing staff.
• Develop and implement clinical protocols and participate in planning new programs.
• Ensure accurate, legible, and confidential medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in peer reviews, quality assurance, and in-service training programs.
• Serve as a medical consultant and provide backup for mid-level practitioners.

Family Practice Physician Required Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited residency program.
• Valid and current California Medical License.
• Board Eligible or Certified in Family Practice (must become Board Certified within 2 years if not already).
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Registration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate (ACLS from AHA-approved provider).
• Must pass pre-employment criminal background check.

Preferred:

• At least 1 year of directly related experience.
• Experience in Community or Public Health.
• Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin is highly desirable.

Family Practice Physician Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, walk, and stand in a clinical office environment.
• Regular bending, stretching, and lifting of objects up to 20 pounds.
• Exposure to potentially dangerous materials, requiring adherence to safety precautions.
• OSHA training and compliance with handling blood-borne pathogens.

Family Practice Physician Education:

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of accredited residency training.
